Join us for a celebration of motherhood in our Mother's Mirror Talk, a 10‑minute live talk and hands-on activity with some of the items ancient mothers used for protection, joy, and peace. Learn how their needs and hopes echo in mothers today.

Ancient Perfume Lab - Guests can sign up at the front desk to participate in a session (sessions available from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.) to re-create your own authentic ancient Egyptian perfume. Afterward, guests may view our genuine ancient perfume bottles, which once held similar sacred fragrances.
Celebrate Mother’s Day inspired by Bastet, Egypt’s feline deity of home and family, at 1:30 p.m. Explore the revered role of cats in ancient Egypt, and visit Maribastet, our remarkable 2,000-year-old cat mummy.
